Whitewater Rafting Guide Programs
2008
Whitewater Rafting is one of the fastest
growing extreme adventure sports in North America. With more and more
rafting companies springing up every season there is a definite need for
qualified, well trained, and certified guides. Transport Canada has recently
put in place guidelines that are very specific about what qualifies a
competent and certified Raft Guide. The C.R.C. guide school and the level
two guide training will ensure that you meet the Transport Canada criteria.
Our guide schools are run on the Ottawa River, the foremost rafting river
of eastern Canada. Included in the course fee are all meals during your
program, camping at our Ottawa River base camp, and use of all of our
evening activities.

Whitewater Rafting Guide School
Cost: $595.00*
This highly respected 7-day guide school includes a 2-day river rescue
course and 5 days of introductory training on paddle and oar rafts. Successful
participants will receive a Canadian River Council certificate and the
River Rescue Level I certificate. Participants can expect to be paddling
class I to III whitewater. This program is run on the Ottawa River, known
as one of the best rafting rivers in North America. Guide school fees
include camping at our Ottawa River base camp and meals.

River Rafting Guide Training Level II
Cost: $895.00*
This 8-day program's goal is to produce fully qualified and certified
Canadian Rivers Council Guides in compliance with Transport Canada guidelines.
All participants must have taken the C.R.C. River Rafting Guide School or
have commensurate experience. Participants can expect to be paddling class
III to V whitewater. This program is run on the Ottawa River, known as
one of the best rafting rivers in North America. Course fees include camping
at our Ottawa River base camp and meals.
