Ice Climbing is fabulous way to get outside and have fun in the winter. Whether you're a rock climber looking to keep climbing in the winter, or someone who wants to start climbing but just can't seem to find the time in the summer season, ice climbing may be just what you've been looking for. All of our programs include modern ice tools, boots, and crampons, as well as all of the safety equipment you will require. Classes are held, for the most part, in Huntsville (dependant on ice conditions) which offers the challenge of great ice to climb combined with the breathtaking surroundings of Ontario's "Near North" region.

Two-Day Introductory Program
Cost: $160.00*
Designed for the complete beginner who has little or no climbing experience but wants to try this exciting sport.
Programs run every weekend from January to mid March.

Complete Beginners Program
Cost: $320.00*
This program is designed for the climber who wants to learn more about this sport. We instruct you on setting up anchors, advanced belay techniques, learning to read and identify ice conditions, selecting equipment to purchase, and helping you climb better. The program includes four days (two full weekends) of ice climbing instruction or four days consecutive.

Intermediate / Learning to Lead
Cost: $595.00*
This program is designed for the experienced top-rope climber who wants to learn to lead climb on ice. All necessary leading equipment is supplied. The program includes six days (three full weekends) of leading ice instruction.
